This page is updated on a regular basis. Join the naturalists of Nature Calgary as they explore Calgary’s wild areas! All walks are free, and open to the public – you don’t have to be a member of Nature Calgary to participate. There is no need to call the leader unless that is specified. Just show up and go birding!
Willing to share your knowledge with others? If so, consider leading a field trip for Nature Calgary in your favourite birding area. Call Gus Yaki at 403 243-2248 to specify date and location.
There are also free birding field trips every Saturday morning at 9 am, conducted by the Wild Bird Store (8330 MacLeod Trail SE) and led by Jim St. Laurent. Phone the store at 403-640-2632 for details.
Paid birding courses are offered through the Friends of Fish Creek Park. To register or to get on a waiting list, phone Chris at 403 238-3841.
