  1. We live in New Brighton and saw a pair of swan on our pond today(October 29th 2012). First time we have seen them here. Shouldn’t they be migrating?

  2. Swans, both Tundra and Trumpeter, are late migrants, and they are being seen now on open water in the Calgary area. Tundra Swans will be around until mid-November and Trumpeters until late November, provided there is still open water around. Occasionally a few will overwinter on the river.
